In honor of Women’s History Month, United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) Chairman Don Salazar and President & CEO Javier Palomarez released the following statement:
“The USHBC would not be the organization it is today without our women board members’ and staff’s dedication, commitment, and hard work, in driving our advocacy on behalf of America’s Hispanic business community. Similarly, our country’s Latina business leaders are one of the most entrepreneurial, job-creating, profit-generating communities in the nation. Hispanic-women-owned small businesses have experienced exponential growth, unmatched by any other minority group in this nation. Between 2007-2016 alone they have driven a 137% increase in business ownership. These women are paradigms of success that we should all strive to emulate. This Women’s History Month we honor and recognize all our female entrepreneurs who set the standard for professionalism and act as role models for current and future generations.”
