Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC) will be joining its partner charities El Nido Family Centers and Play It Forward for “Kids Helping Kids,” a special event that encourages disadvantaged families to lead healthy and active lives. Volunteers from LATLC will be distributing gift bags with high-quality PE equipment donated by Play It Forward to youth at El Nido’s Pacoima FamilySource Center and the Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) program on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Two hundred LATLC duffel bags filled with at-home PE kits will be given out to the young people of El Nido’s Pacoima FamilySource Center. These kits will contain items such as balls, jump ropes, and other sporting equipment, as well as hand sanitizer, LATLC stress hearts, and other items to help promote health and wellbeing in the community. The PE kits provided by Play It Forward are the same PE equipment that it has donated to over 100 schools across Los Angeles County to motivate kids to stay fit and active.
