On Saturday, March 12, Sunrise Cares, a registered 501(c)(3), holds the First Annual 5k for Veterans at Lake Harbor Park, 4990 New Broad St. Orlando, FL 32814, at 8 AM. All ages, strollers, wheelchairs, walkers etc., are welcome to join us as folks run, walk, or even roll their way to the finish line to benefit the County Veterans Services Officers Association of Florida.
Awards will be given to the top three overall adult male and female racers, and the top three overall child (12 & under) male and female.
Refreshments will be available throughout the course and following the race.
All proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the County Veterans Services Officers Association of Florida.
Sunrise Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping remove the stigma associated with mental illness; providing support and encouragement; and highlighting healthy alternatives for living well.
