Feenix Venture Partners (“Feenix”) an alternative asset manager focused on private credit and venture debt, today announced the final closing of its third closed-end fund, FVP Opportunity Fund III, LP (“FVP III”). FVP III closed with more than $58 million in committed capital from new and existing investors and the partners of the firm. FVP III is preceded by two prior funds with $13 million (2019) and $12 million (2017) in committed capital, respectively.
FVP III will primarily focus on making senior loans to small and medium-sized companies in the consumer sector including food & beverage operators, hospitality owners, direct-to-consumer e-commerce retailers, SaaS businesses and other service businesses. FVP III provides non-dilutive, tailored solutions for borrowers seeking acquisition, expansion/growth, bridge-to-equity raise, and balance sheet recapitalization financing.
Feenix targets an average loan size of $5 to $10 million with larger amounts for acquisition and/or bridge loans. Feenix combines its financing activities with credit card processing services provided by its affiliate, Feenix Payment Systems, to better align interests and reduce the overall costs of financing.
